What happens when students first arrive in India?

Buddhist Studies in India students participate in orientation in both London and Delhi. Students are responsible for traveling to London on their own. In London, the students meet the program director, several members of the program staff, and other program participants. Orientation in London includes a visit to the British Museum, review of policies, additional information about health and safety in India, and community building activities. After two days in London, students and program staff fly together to Delhi for three more days of orientation and introduction to India. The group then travels by train to Bodh Gaya.
