The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) has announced its plans for finalizing work on the historic stone arch bridge on Minnesota state highway 19, which accesses the Carleton College campus from the east, from July 18-Sept 2.
Carleton team again part of the LIGO Scientific Collaboration and the Virgo collaboration to identify a second gravitational wave event in the data from Advanced LIGO detectors.
The popular annual “Lighten Up!” garage sale is June 18-19 in the West Gym.

The Board of Trustees recently approved the promotion of three faculty members, from associate professor to professor, effective September 1, 2016.
The College will award a Bachelor of Arts degree to 494 graduating members of the Class of 2016, along with an Honorary Degree to former Minnesota Supreme Court Justice Alan C. Page, who will address the graduating seniors.
The annual celebration awards the academic accomplishments of Carleton students and faculty.
