Community children (and their parents!) invited to the 15th annual "Halloween Knight"

October 22, 2013

The Carleton College athletic department, coaches, and varsity student-athletes are pleased to announce the 15th Annual "Halloween 'KNIGHT'" Carnival to be held Sunday, Oct. 27 from 3 to 5 p.m. This year’s event will once again be held at Carleton’s Recreation Center.

This free activity for pre-school through elementary-age children (and their parents) will include face painting face painting, beanie bag toss, crafts, musical chairs, bowling, a football toss, and several other sport-centered activity booths.

Carleton varsity athletic teams will sponsor different stations, with prizes and candy given out at each. Attendees are encouraged to come in costume to enjoy the Halloween “Knight” with the Knights in a safe, family-friendly environment.

The event is sponsored by the Carleton Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC). For more information, including disability accommodations, contact Heidi Jaynes at (507) 222-4447.
