Celebrate spring with Swing Low, a lively exhibition presenting four artists and colorful, ingenious installations, utilizing the unique ceiling grid system of the Perlman's Braucher Gallery. Join us on Friday, April 3 at 7 p.m. in the Larson Family Meeting Room (Weitz 236), to hear Alison Hiltner, HOTTEA, Rebecca Hutchinson, and Elizabeth Simonson on their work. Then experience the magic downstairs in the museum during the reception from 8 to 9:30 p.m. Alison Hiltner combines high tech and low tech to create an interactive science fiction-tinged environment. HOTTEA unfurls a rainbow array of yarn to create a waterfall of color. Rebecca Hutchinson transforms fine clay and rough twigs into an upside down natural environment. Elizabeth Hutchinson unleashes hundreds of flying creations wrought from wire and beads.
