Elizabeth Perrill has conducted research in Zimbabwe and South Africa. Her doctoral dissertation, Contemporary Zulu Ceramics, 1960s-Present, was funded by both a Fulright-Hays and a Social Science Research Council (SSRC) Fellowship and was defended in the summer of 2008.
