Charles Cohan, Professor of Art at University of Hawaii at Manoa, is an accomplished printmaker. From his home halfway between Asia and North America, Cohan is perfectly positioned to observe commonalities and differences between artists working around the Pacific Basin. Actively involved in artistic exchange as an artist and teacher, Cohan has taught in Italy, New Zealand, and South Africa, in addition heading the Printmaking Program at the University of Hawaii. Cohan has received significant artistic awards, and his work is in major museum collections.
