Hi, I’m Lillie Snortland, a museum lover. I have the privilege of working in the Perlman Teaching Museum as this year’s intern. I am a Classical Studies and French and Francophone Studies double major. In my spare time I write, play the cello in the campus group Just Cellin’, and dance in swing, ballroom, and Latin clubs.

This year, I look forward to showcasing the amazing art collection—how lucky are we to have all this art (over 3000 objects!) just sitting around on campus? Projects will mix the old and the new—creating new platforms for art and media while highlighting art objects from the past. Personal goals include experimenting with engagement strategies and interactivity in museum exhibitions and education. I hope to help make the museum a space for collaboration between all students be they science enthusiasts, poetry buffs, or members of the bowling club.
