Faress Bhuiyan and Paula Lackie win IASSIST award
Assistant Professor of Economics Faress Bhuiyan and Academic Technologist Paula Lackie won a runner-up award in the paper competition for IASSIST 2016 for their paper, “Mitigating Survey Fraud and Human Error: Lessons Learned From A Low Budget Village Census in Bangladesh.” It will be published in The IASSIST Quarterly, a peer-reviewed publication of articles dealing with social science and data services. Some of the very early research was supported by Academic Technology DataSquad students Maraki Ketama ’15, Gordon Leory ’15, Carl Bou Mansour ’15, and Ben Strauss ’16.
