Board of Trustees appoints six faculty to endowed chairs

Six Carleton professors have been appointed by the Board of Trustees to endowed chairs. The Board voted in the following faculty members:

• Steve Drew (Chemistry) —Charles “Jim” and Marjorie Kade Professor of the Sciences and Chemistry
• Melissa Eblen-Zayas (Physics) —Humphrey Doermann Professor of Liberal Learning
• Mark Kanazawa (Economics) —Wadsworth A. Williams Professor of Economics
• Justin London (Music; Cognitive Science) —Andrew W. Mellon Professor of Music, Cognitive Science, and the Humanities
• Julie Neiworth (Psychology)—Lawrence McKinley Gould Professor of the Natural Sciences and Psychology
• Melinda Russell (Music) —Professor of Music and M.A. and A.D. Hulings Professor of American Studies
