Adriana Estill, Associate Professor of English and American Studies, presented “Love, Racial Knowing, and the Perils of Brown Masculinity,” a talk about the Hulu show East Los High, at the 3rd Biennial Latina/o Literary Theory and Criticism Conference at John Jay College in New York City, on April 14. While she was there, she had the joy of moderating the panel—”Beyond and Within the Human: Race, Abjection, and Decolonial Imaginaries”—which included Carleton alum and MMUF scholar Victoria Sánchez, who is studying Latinx Studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
