Carleton Now

This aerial shot shows the extent of flooding on the western edge of the Carleton campus after the Cannon River reached record or near-record levels. (Locations referenced top to bottom) Both Laird Stadium and West Gym sustained interior water damage on the lower levels. The football and men's soccer practice fields, arb tennis courts, and portions of the lower arboretum sit under several feet of water. Students were also re-located from a few campus houses (in the distance) between Hwy. 19 and the river.
