Foran made a full bid which stood unopposed as the recommendation of the committee.

Request 2

Korean Student Association

$80

The Korean Students Association requested funds for a study break in Asia house. The event will be a gathering for the KSA and the Coalition of Hmong students. The snacks are modern.

They may be ordering some of the ingredients from online, or they may go to the cities to buy it. If they get funding today, they plan to order the ingredients online.

Foran made a full bid which stood unopposed as the recommendation of the committee.

Request 3

Minority Students Pre-Health Coalition

$900

Minority Students Prehealth Coalition requested funds for a trip to the Student National Medical Association’s 44th Annual Medical Education Conference. There are 8 students going. Every student is contributing $310 dollars. They are looking for other donations. There will be a conference at Carleton after the event to share what the attending students learn.

The funds for this will come from Spring Term. They have asked 22 departments for funding.

Kerson made a full bid which stood unopposed as the recommendation of the committee.

Request 4

International Relations Committee

$86

The International Relations Committee requested funds for recent changes to Russian dinner plans. Bon Appetit has asked for more money than they were expecting. They received some funds from President to cover some of the difference.

The unexpected costs are related to sales tax and service charges. Student organizations must pay sales tax.
