Jeremy DeAngelo

Jeremy DeAngelo is a visiting professor of medieval literature, with primary expertise in early English, Irish, and Norse language and culture. He got his doctorate in medieval studies from the University of Connecticut in 2013, and, since then, he has held fellowships at the Folger Shakespeare Library and Rutgers University's Center for Cultural Analysis. He is particularly interested in cultural diversity in the Middle Ages and the ways in which environment shapes literature, and is very excited to explore these topics with the students at Carleton this year.
