For their group comps project, math majors (from left) Wenli Rui ’13 (Shanghai, China), Cassie Mullen ’13 (Seattle), Yansong Pang ’13 (Wuhan, Hubei, China), and Megan Bakken ’13 (Waterville, Minn.) worked with employees at the Faribault Woolen Mill to determine what machine spinning speed results in the fewest yarn breaks.
