  • Tuesday: Coffee night 7pm–12am
  • Wednesday: Live @ the Cave KRLX 8-9pm, Cave open 7pm–12am
  • Thursday: Student group events 7pm–12am
  • Friday/Saturday: Concerts, dances, events 8pm–1am


  • A current OneCard is required for admission.
  • One guest is permitted per Carleton student. Students must enter and remain with their guest. Hosts are responsible for the actions of their guests.
  • Security personnel will assist with events on Friday and Saturday nights. Cave student staff will also be present. Please be courteous and respectful to those involved in making the Cave a safe music venue for students.


As of fall term 2013, the Cave is BYOB (Bring Your Own Beverage). Beer, malt beverages, and wine may be brought to the Cave by those 21 years of age or older. No hard alcohol is allowed. For those who choose to partake in BYOB, please read the following policies:

  • Governent-issued identification is required as proof of age. OneCards are not valid as proof of age; they only confirm student status.
  • Students of legal drinking age who wish to consume alcohol will receive a wristband upon entry.
  • Alcoholic beverages are limited to (6) 12-ounce beers OR (1) 750 ML bottle of wine per person (hard alcohol is not allowed).
  • Sealed containers only. Open containers of alcohol cannot be brought in or out of The Cave.
  • Common containers designed for more than one person are prohibited. Examples include kegs and boxed wine.
  • High risk drinking activities such as drinking games and beer bongs are not permitted.
  • Students who show signs of excessive intoxication will not be admitted.
  • Alcohol cannot be brought into The Cave after midnight.
