Old Time Religion (Parody)
This parody song, which may have been in the film A Fool and His Money but was definitely featured in "Rise Up Singing", is about to be about the old religions, but instead mentions American and British modern Druid traditions. We invented the "fermented fluids", but we don't do the nudist thing, I swear!
We will pray with those old druids They drink fermented fluids Waltz naked through the woo-ids...
In Spaceballs, the Planet Druidia is home to the First Intergalactic Temple (Reformed) of the Druids.
The Mists of Avalon
Marion Zimmer Bradley's The Mists of Avalon gives a shout out to us in the acknowledgements.
We are mentioned in Britannica's print edition entry on Neo-Paganism... we're also in over 500 encyclopedias of world religion and paganism, to be found on Google Books! We seem to be mentioned in the children's book "Franklin Fibs"...?!
