Registration for the Summer of 2017 will open on February 1. Carleton has been selected by the College Board to serve as a pilot for new registration software. We are currently developing the registration form, and are excited for the new features this software will offer to districts and individuals. While the registration form is not available, currently, most of our workshop course descriptions and consultant bios are updated on our website. Please take some time to look at the many workshops that will be offered at Carleton this summer. If you would like to receive a notification when our registration form is open, please fill out the mailing list request.

Minnesota Teacher Scholarships
Minnesota teachers who are teaching or plan to teach an AP® course are eligible for a scholarship from the state. This year, the Minnesota Department of Education expects to reimburse school districts at least $500 for tuition and $150 or more for room and board for each teacher attending an Advanced Placement* Summer Institute. Depending upon the total number of enrollments for this summer, MDE may be able to reimburse school districts up to the full cost of the Institute; unfortunately, that decision will not be made until after all summer institutes have closed.
Please contact Jacqui McKenzie, Minnesota Department of Education at 651-582-8852 for application and funding information.

College Board* Scholarships
The College Board* offers three different types of scholarships. There are scholarships offered for redesigned subjects (Calculus AB, Calculus BC and World History for the summer of 2016), the Fellows Program designed for underrepresented and low-income populations, and the Rural Fellows Program for teachers in rural school districts. To learn more about these different opportunities, please visit the College Board* website.
Photography and Contact Information Policy
During the Summer Teaching Institute, photos will be taken of participants, classes, and events that will be used for future promotional materials (including, but not limited to: printed materials and web publication). Past Summer Teaching Institute participants have also compiled a list of names and email addresses of their workshop colleagues to facilitate future professional collaboration. If you do not want to be included in photos OR do not want your name and email address included on the contact list distributed to your fellow workshop participants, please submit your request to be excluded in writing (via email or US Mail) to the Summer Academic Programs Office.
All cancellations for the Summer Teaching Institute must be made in writing (submitted via email or US Mail). The $400 tuition deposit required for registration is non-refundable. Residential participants will be assessed half of room and board fees for cancellations received after May 26, 2017. Any cancellations received within 14 days of the opening of the Summer Teaching Institute or while the Institute is in session will result in forfeiture of all tuition and fees paid.
