    An interactive session which walks through the process of analyzing what training you have and developing a big-picture plan for creating or re-designing training.
  • 10:15 - 10:40 | Breaking Training Down & Iterating | Kendra Strode
    Examples of brainstorming processes to inventory potential training opportunities and delivery mechanisms and determine how to distribute training content.
  • 10:45 - 11:45 | The Why & How of Training Development | Carly Born, Academic Technologist
    A little bit of learning theory and instructional design methodology can go a long way!

12:00 - 1:30pm | Lunch on your own

We have an outdoor space (weather permitting), and indoor space available for eating your lunch on campus, too.
Initial brainstorming ideas and worksheets will be provided so you can start thinking about training ideas during lunch, if you like.

1:30 - 3:30 | Workshop Time
Time to work independently or in groups on designing or implementing training.  Sample starting structures, guided questions, and brainstorming resources will be provided.  Bring your own computer.
Cookies will be available in the afternoon.

3:30 - 4:00 | Group Discussion
Regroup and discuss - wrap up!  For those of you with long drives home, feel free to depart early.
