One of the conceits driving the design of Evelyn M. Anderson Hall, Carleton’s new science facility, is that well-lit communal spaces encourage creativity and cross-disciplinary collaboration. That’s why the building’s three-story glass foyer was built to look like and function as a kind of living room.

The Community, Equity, and Diversity Initiative partnered with the facilities and residential life offices to add more accessible single-user restrooms to the Carleton campus.
