Combining eastern and western traditions, Jeff & Florence strive to manage Pipestone Vineyards sustainabley and organically, being gentle of the land and its inhabitants. Their respect for the land and vines yields outstanding wines.
Pipestone Vineyards may be the only vineyard and winery in California managed and built according to the traditional Chinese principals of feng shui. Both philosophies, East and West, come together in the understanding of how each decision one makes regarding the land has an effect on many other natural systems
Jeff & Florence follow a traditional French model in winemaking that strives to show the terroir of our vineyard, showing the best wines that their soil, climate, exposure, and location can produce. They focus on the southern French Rhône varietals because these are appropriate to the Mediterranean climate along the Central Coast of California.
They‚ll tell you how they got from Northfield to their own vineyard AND we‚ll sample some great wines.
$10 per person imbibing of the vine, N/C for designated drivers
