Students of the Public Sociology course completed a study of the business sector in Northfield during the winter of 2009. Potential academic civic engagement projects are outlined for the business sector in addition to a comprehensive presentation of the findings in the Business Sector section of the ACE Website.

The Business Sector includes an economic background of the sectors containing quantitative information on the Northfield economy. This project also provides a sector description, which outlines and evaluates the business sector's current state based on field research and data collection, and a sector assessment, which provides a picture of the local economy from the prespective of business leaders. 

This site also provides a list of local business organizations, policy issues and recommendations for action related to the Northfield economy, and a list of requested projects by community members.
