We have also included a list of colleagues who are happy to consult with other faculty on how to deal effectively with these sensitive topics in classes, advising, etc. Next term we will have several LTC events that are relevant to things that are going on both on campus as well as nationally. These include both of our upcoming book groups, as well as lunch sessions that look back to our campus climate survey or look at the topics of micro aggressions and trigger warnings. The events that are planned include the perspectives of our full campus, with staff, faculty and students all slated for presentations. I hope that these events help us to process these sometimes-difficult issues. I look forward to your participation in these discussions.
