Adrienne starts with a square piece of wood that she has planed and joined to be flat on each side. Using the band saw, she begins to cut what will be a disc shape.
She has 9 discs of wood that she glues together.
Once the glue dries, she sands the whole sphere to give a smooth, unified appearance.
