Minnesota Private Colleges Job and Internship Information Session
February 17 & 18th, 2016 (Minneapolis Convention Center)
The job fair is attended by over 250 employers and 2,000 candidates annually. Employers from Applied Health & Science, Business, Communications, Education, Engineering/Technology, Government, and Social Services & Non-profit are seeking to hire.
Last year, over 40 Carleton juniors and seniors attended and 64% received an interview. From those students 40% received an offer!
At this session we will cover...
- In-depth details on employers attending the fair (including who is hiring for full-time jobs and/or internships, their ability to sponsor international students, geographical locations of positions, and who will be interviewing at the fair)
- How to research organizations using the new app (search for "MNPC Fair"), hosted by Guidebook Inc.
- What you can do to stand out from the crowd
- How you can start preparing and applying now to make the most of the fair
- Details on transportation
- What materials you will need to bring to the fair
- What you will need to wear to the fair (start your suit shopping now if you don't have one)
