Margaret Atwood's The Penelopiad is a feminist retelling of the classic Odyssey story. The story focuses on the life experiences of Penelope, Odysseus' faithful wife, and her twelve maids. The story's central themes include the treatment of women in history, double standards between sexes and classes, and the overall concept of justice. ETB presents a theatrical rendition of The Penelopiad, featuring an all-women cast performing original music written by Liza Davis '16.
