Book launch of African-American Environmental Thought: Foundations

From site: Wellstone House of Organization and Activism

Please help me celebrate the publication of my new book, African American Environmental Thought: Foundations! According to my publisher, this book is a "pathbreaking study" that offers "a new way to conceptualize black politics" as well as a "normative environmental theory aimed at identifying the social conditions for environmental virtue." Whew! Sounds good, doesn't it? Find out for yourself if my publisher is full of hot air! We'll be gathering at the Headley House on May 5th, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, to enjoy food, conversation and commentary by visiting scholars John Barry and Melvin Rogers. Students, faculty and concerned citizens are welcome!
