JAMnesty--Concert for Human Rights

From site: Wellstone House of Organization and Activism

JAMnesty is the Carleton chapter of Amnesty International's annual concert to raise money to support the important work for human rights done by Amnesty International. Admission to the concert is absolutely free, but we do encourage you to make a small donation. Last year we raised over $200 for humanitarian work... I think we can aim higher this time. This truly is a good and worthy cause. You can read some of Amnesty International's success stories at: http://web.amnesty.org/pages/aboutai-goodnews-eng But idealism aside, JAMnesty also promises a night of quality entertainment. This year's excellent line-up: 9:00 - French Island 9:35 - the 3rd Goodhue Band 10:10 - Peter Uwalaka & Co. 10:35 - picnic, lightning: femenye of the lawe 11:20 - Gospel Gossip Good music. A good cause. What else could you ask for? Doors at 8:30 PM. Start getting excited.
