Mary Easter, Rae Schupack Nathan Professor of Dance and the Performing Arts, is coming to Durham for the American Dance Festival Alumni Adventure. While she's in town, she would love a chance to visit with Carleton alums, parents, families, and friends. She will read from her new memoir, The Way She Wants to Get There: One Dancer's Journey, and explore her career as a dancer, choreographer, poet, and writer (in which Carleton figured prominently!)
Mary would love to meet with everyone for coffee or a drink after the reading!
The Durham Arts Council is located in Downtown Durham at the corner of Morris and Morgan Streets, directly behind the Carolina Theatre and Marriott Hotel Civic Center and across the street from the Southbank building. Park across the street in the parking deck on the corner of Morris and Morgan Streets (Durham Centre Parking Garage Civic/Arts Center Parking.)
To help us plan, please let Club Co-Chair Bengt Pederson '94 know if you're coming at nccarletonclub@gmail.com.)
*Come downtown early and enjoy the art exhibits at the Durham Arts Council Building or the 6:00 p.m. Adrian Duke blues concert at the CCB Plaza, 201 N. Corcoran Street.
