1:00 pm – Private guided tour of Gordon Parks exhibit at the Delaware Art Museum

Bare Witness:  Photographs by Gordon Parks feature examples of his most potent imagery.  In 1948, Parks began the first African American staff photographer for Life magazine, and gained an international reputation for visually chronicling the lives of the poor and the Civil Rights Movement.  He was also an author, filmmaker (Shaft), poet, and musician – a Renaissance man whose career embodies the American ideal of equality.

G-L Please bring baked goods (muffins, rolls, scones, biscuits, bread)

M-R Please bring a dessert

S-Z Please bring beverages (juice or soft drink)

(Entrées, coffee and tea provided)

Prospective students and their families are guests of the College.

Cost:  $8 per person covers tour and museum admission.
