Hello New York! Please join the Carleton Career Center for this fun, casual and informational event graciously hosted by current Carleton parents Russell Makowsky and Melanie Katzman (parents of Harper Makowsky, 2014).

The purpose of the event is two-fold.  First and foremost it’s a wonderful opportunity to connect and network with the whole of the New York area Carleton community, including students at home during break, current parents, alums and friends.  The secondary goal of the evening is for alums and parents to learn more about the current Career Center model which is focused on using the talents of alumni, parents and friends to help students prepare for their careers and lives after Carleton. 

Current students have increasingly effective ways to explore what they'll do after Carleton. Alums and parents have stepped forward to get students into as many rooms as they can, to talk with as many friends (old and new) of Carleton as possible, in as many fields as possible, for varying lengths of time, (hours, days, weeks, months), on and off-campus, around and beyond their academic lives. We need your and your network's help to continue and increase these opportunities!

Come to this event and enjoy friends from around New York, meet new friends from the Career Center, as well as alums who have already volunteered for new Career Center initiatives. We hope to talk to you about the programs we have put together and to find out how you may be able to help. 

Light snacks and beverages will be served.
