Join Associate Professor of Chemistry Matt Whited for a discussion of the chemical basis of energy storage and the efforts to mitigate the harmful effects of carbon dioxide. He'll also share the recent and significant progress that his Carleton lab students have contributed in this crucial area.
About the Speaker
Matt Whited has taught inorganic chemistry at Carleton since 2010. He is the co-author of 39 articles, many of them in collaboration with Carleton students, and he is the recipient of a number of prestigious grants, including a CAREER award from the National Science Foundation and multiple grants from the American Chemical Society Petroleum Research Fund to support undergraduate research.
