Join us and Harvard Book Store as we celebrate the launch of Kevin McIntosh's debut novel Class Dismissed. Informed by his thirty-year teaching career in New York City, Oakland, and Greater Boston, Class Dismissed will be released this July by Regal House Publishing. In Class Dismissed, a young teacher from a Minnesota farm town is cast down a New York City rabbit hole of Board of Education bureaucracy and union politics when a privileged but learning-disabled student is injured in his classroom. Fellow Carl Jane Hamilton '79 calls it “pitch-perfect . . .very funny . . . not to mention harrowing and of this moment.”
