Carleton’s Regional Carls Program

Greetings Carls,

Please save the date for the evening of August 15th for a get together with the Carleton students studying on the 2011 Cambridge Summer Program led by Professor Aaron Swoboda, '01.  This is a chance to mix and mingle with other Carleton Alumni in London whilst interacting with current Carleton students eager to discover the joys and pitfalls of living overseas.

Thanks to the generosity of Richard Allen Greene, '91 and Geoffrey Yu, '06, the Carleton students will have a "field trip" to CNN and UBS in London, getting an inside look into the operations of these two organizations.  Afterwards, the students will adjourn to a watering hole and are hopeful of meeting Carleton alums and parents to chat about our careers and experiences, obtain advice on their career aspirations and find out what it takes to find international work.  Previous student/London alum evenings have been enjoyable for all and this event should be more of the same.
