North Carolina Drag Bingo Community Service Event
The North Carolina Carleton Club
invites you to participate in a
Volunteer/Fundraising Event for
the Alliance of AIDS Services Carolina
Drag Bingo
Durham Armory
220 Foster Street, Durham
June 27, 2009
Please join us for our Carleton community spring service project.
Drag Bingo is an event that generates income benefitting the Alliance of AIDS Services—Carolina through admission ticket sales, bingo cards and food sales. Proceeds fund direct care services for people living with AIDS or HIV, education for people at risk and prevention programs. One hundred percent of monies raised at the event go straight to the Alliance. Games typically sell out in advance. All prizes won at Drag Bingo are donated by generous businesses in the community.
“Sounds neat. How can I participate?”
“Volunteer to help with set up of Drag Bingo any time between 3 p.m.- 7 p.m. on the day of the event.”
“Join us in playing a spirited game of Drag Bingo! The doors open at 6 p.m., with the games beginning at 7 p.m.”
Tickets are $17 per person to play.
Please contact North Carolina Club Co-Chair Jamie Foehl ’99 by June 12 if you are interested in volunteering or attending the event - or both!
