Dress like you’re going to the football stadium!

Alexx Stuart, Carleton class of ‘’73, is Phoenix’s sports playwright du jour.  To this point, he has written plays about senior softball, country club golfers, pro football, the Minnesota Twins, the Phoenix Suns, and the Arizona Diamondbacks.  His mother still wishes he would get a real job.

Football: The Musical has something for everybody, and since the Carls never defeated the hated Oles in football during Stuart’s 4 years at Carleton, this is one way he has of making the underdog come out ahead in the end.

The food is great, the energy of the actors is high, and there will be no tests at the end of the night.  (Three course dinner with beverage and rolls is included in the ticket price.)

Stuart and director Diedre Kaye will be there to greet the Carls and will hold a talkback after the show if anyone really wants to know where Alexx went wrong in life or other questions that have plagued mankind in the past several weeks.

Make your reservation as soon as possible by calling 623-776-8400.  Tickets are $48.50 per person and include dinner, show, tax and gratuity.  There is a full cash bar available as well.  Seating is 8 to a table.  When you call, request to be seated as a “Carleton table.”
