To Clean Up Wissahickon Valley Park

with the Grinnell College Alumni Club

Saturday, May 3, 2008, 9:30 to 12 noon

12 noon—Lunch at Valley Green Inn (www.valleygreeninn.com)

Please join Carleton alumni, parents, friends and families and incoming students as we work with the Grinnell College alumni to chop invasive vines in Wissahickon Park, followed by lunch at the Valley Green Inn, a short 10 minute walk from the site. Wear sturdy clothes and shoes and dress in layers. Gloves and vine clippers will be provided. Kids are welcome!

Wissahickon Valley Park in northwest Philly is located at the intersection of Wises Mill Road and Henry Avenue (7700 Block of Henry). Meet and park at Valley Green Inn—see the website for driving directions. Look for the blue and yellow balloons on the antenna of the red VW Passat. Coffee and donuts provided!
