It's a musical-laugh riot when a Minnesota couple, Carl and Lena Johnson, tours Arizona at Christmas time to determine if Carl should take that big promotion his company has just offered. It's “Land of the Snow” versus “The Valley of the Sun” in Darknight Productions Coyote Dreams: A VERY Arizona Christmas. Twenty-two familiar holiday songs with the most unfamiliar lyrics escort you as Carl and Lena meet up with silly seniors, modern cowboys, and sheriff groupies . You'll see all of Arizona—the Grand Canyon, the London Bridge, and Tombstone—as the Johnsons ask the musical question, "Where's the Lutefisk?"
Tables are reserved for Carleton, Macalester, and other Minnesota alumni on Sunday, December 20, at 12:30 pm. A one-price $45 ticket includes show, a three-course meal, tax and gratuities.
