The Devilish Children and the Civilizing Process

Thursday, November 11, 2010, 8 p.m.

at the Dream Theatre Company

556 West 18th Street, Chicago

Please join alums, parents and friends for a performance and discussion of the world premiere play:  The Devilish Children and the Civilizing Process by Jeremy Menekseoglu.

The Devilish Children and the Civilizing Process is…based on the German cautionary tales of Heinrich Hoffmann.  A disobedient 3 year old is dropped off at a school for manners by a father who has no intention of ever picking him up again. His instructors in etiquette are the wicked, nasty, unruly and sadistic children: The Devilish Children.”

A reception and talkback with the cast, including Annelise Lawson ’09, crew, and playwright will follow the performance!
