Tour of the USS Iowa
Berth 87 at the Port of Los Angeles
Saturday, June 1, 2013, 10 a.m.
Celebrate the American spirit by touring the USS Iowa with the Los Angeles Carleton Club! We will
take the self-guided tour at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 1. Following the tour, please join us at Neil's Pasta and Seafood Grill (about 1 mile away), 383 W. 5th Street, San Pedro, for a group lunch.
Cost: Tickets will be available for purchase upon arrival. Adults are $18 each, children ages 6 to 17
are $10 each, age 62 and over are $15 each. Military personnel and veterans with ID are $15 each.
The ship is not accessible to those with limited mobility and strollers are not allowed. Ladders are
involved. The Los Angeles Maritime Museum is nearby and could be visited by those who find the
Iowa inaccessible, or by all of us who would like to after lunch.
RSVP by May 30th so we can make restaurant reservations. Be sure to wear comfortable clothing and shoes.
