Please join hosts Gary '67 and Liz '68 Sundem for a discussion with George Shuffelton, Professor of English. George has recently completed a 4-year term as Associate Dean of the College. Drawing from that experience and his current research on student life and alumni friendships at medieval universities, he will discuss the pasts and futures of higher education. Come hear about the similarities and ask questions about what we could see in the future on college campuses.
Continue the conversation after George's talk. We will move to Herb and Bitter Public House for more conversation and comaraderie with fellow Carls.
Cost: At Herb and Bitter Public House, purchase your own drinks and/or food.
RSVP by Friday, November 10 by clicking HERE and completing the form at the bottom of the page.
Directions: The Capitol Hill Branch of the Seattle Public Library is located on the southwest corner of Harvard Avenue East and East Republican Street. Information about directions, parking, and public transportation can be found HERE. Herb and Bitter Public House is a short walk around the corner from the library.
