Carleton’s Regional Carls Program

Bring your frisbees, lawn games and sunscreen! Please join Carleton alumni, parents and current students to induct the incoming freshmen (Class of 2020) by sending them off with an old fashioned picnic potluck. 

We'll gather on Castle Island (not actually an island) to toast summer, catch up with old friends, make new friends and share stories about our days on campus with incoming Carls.

Participants are encouraged to bring lawn games and blankets.

All are welcome, including parents and families of incoming first year students.

RSVPs are appreciated by August 7 to Susie Pham. 

Additionally, please select an item(s) to bring to the potluck. If the site asks you for a PIN, use "2020". Incoming students and families, please just bring yourselves.

Directions to Castle Island:

MBTA: Castle Island, M St. Beach - Red Line to Broadway Station, then take City Point buses #9 or #11. Walk to the right across Marine Park to the beach to the entrance of the fort. Carson Beach - Red Line to JFK/UMass. 

By Car: Castle Island - Rte. 3 to JFK Exit, follow beach along William J. Day Boulevard, Castle Island is at the end of the Causeway.
