Join Carleton alumni for a concert with American pianist and Carleton Lecturer Matthew McCright, who has performed extensively throughout the United States, Europe, Asia, and the South Pacific as piano soloist and chamber musician. He has thrilled audiences and critics alike with imaginative programming that places the greatest piano repertoire alongside the music of today’s most innovative composers. An accomplished recording artist, McCright has released five solo recordings. His solo touring shows include Evening Preludes, The People’s Music, Contemplations: the Music of Messiaen, Connecting Flights, and Endurance.
After the performance, the group will come together at Kurah Mediterranean for drinks, great company, and an opportunity to meet Matthew after he dazzles us with his performance!
Cost: Tickets to the performance are available for $10 and should be purchased online here. All Carleton alumni are receiving a special student rate (note that you will not need a student ID to purchase tickets or enter the event).
Following the show, food and refreshments may be purchased at Kurah Mediterranean.
