Carleton Book Club in Northern Ohio
Dear Northern Ohio Carls,
Interested in joining a book club in the greater Cleveland area? The Tri-College Book Club was founded in 2001 for alumni of Carleton, St. Olaf and Grinnell. We meet on the third Tuesday of each month (6 p.m.) at a local restaurant to enjoy good food and conversation, and discuss a (hopefully!) interesting book. We rotate the restaurant selection to accommodate the various parts of town our members live in, so please let us know if you are interested in joining us for dinner or discussion or both!
Upcoming selections are:
June 18: "The Round House" by Louise Erdrich. We'll be meeting at Samurai, 16670 Royalton Road, Strongsville ( www.samuraihibachioh.com) at 6 p.m.
July 16: "Speed of Dark" by Elizabeth Moon. Location: TBD
August 20: "This is how you lose her" by Junot Diaz. Location: TBD
September 17: "The House for Mr. Biswas" by V. S. Naipaul. Location: TBD
If you are interested in joining us, even occasionally, please email or call me so I can add you to our mailing list.
We hope to hear from you!
