The Seattle Carleton Club Third Annual Finnriver Farm Event
Sunday, August 21, 2011
11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Come join your fellow Carls, parents, and friends for the Third Annual Finnriver Farm Event!
Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the farm. Blueberry picking may be available, depending on the crop. We'll have a lively conversation with each other and with Crystie Kisler ’92, one of the owners. The Cider Tasting Room will also be open.
Cider and wine tasting is $5 per person, but this fee will be gladly waived with purchase. Also, folks can walk the new Soil & Salmon Trail on the farm, a short interpretive trail about the farm and the riparian restoration.
After our lunch and conversation at Finnriver Farm, you can progress down to Plum Wild Farm, owned by Andy Driscoll ’63.
No smoking and no dogs on the farm.
RSVPs are requested but not required, by August 17. Contact Club Chair Kathy Bond ’04. Questions? Contact the Alumni Relations Office at alumni-office@carleton.edu or 800-729-2586.
