Crystal Mountain Resort
While the rest of the country is having a snow drought, the powder is getting deep in the Cascades. The Seattle Carleton Club invites you to take advantage of our good snow fortune to join us for a day of downhill skiing at Crystal Mountain. If you have never been to Crystal before, you are in for a treat. Crystal has some of the best terrain in the northwest and on a clear day, the views of Mt. Rainier are jaw-dropping. We'll take a few runs as a group, meet up for lunch, and likely stop somewhere on the way back to talk about how good the skiing was.
We will meet at 6:30 a.m. at the 65th St. Park and Ride (6601 8th Ave. NE, Seattle, WA). We'll figure out a carpooling plan and then leave promptly at 6:45 a.m.
Be sure to bring appropriate clothing, ski or snowboard equipment (can also be rented), and food or money for lunch.
Please RSVP by email to club co-chair Loren McWethy ’04. (If you need assistance, contact the Alumni Relations Office at 800-729-2586 or alumni-office@carleton.edu.
You can find out more information about ticket prices, equipment rentals, and snow conditions at http://www.crystalmountainresort.com/.
