Twin Cities Club Family Wolf-Howl Event
Family Wolf-Howl with Peggy Callahan ’84
Friday, October 17th, 2008, 1:00-4:00 (during MEA break)
The Wildlife Science Center
5463 West Broadway
Forest Lake
Join other Twin Cities families in celebrating the recovery of one of Minnesota's most important mammals - the gray wolf. Peggy Callahan '84, Executive Director of the Wildlife Science Center, will introduce us to the Center’s resident wolf packs and other animals, including black bears, coyotes, and raptors. Conclude the day sitting fireside toasting marshmallows for s'mores while the wolves fill the air around you with their wild song (join in if you like!)
The 2008 Professional Conference (formerly known as the MEA Convention) provides a great opportunity for families to get to know each other and Minnesota residents of the four-footed variety. For more information about the Wildlife Science Center: Wildlife Science Center, visit: http://www.wildlifesciencecenter.org.
Cost: $10/person paid at the door (covers admission, program, and snacks). Please reserve your place in advance by contacting the Alumni Affairs Office at 507-222-5842 or alumni-office@carleton.edu.
