Carleton Lecture and Concert of Medieval Love Songs
The Bay Area Carleton Club Lecture and Concert of Medieval Love Songs Sunday, November 20, 2011 Happy Hour: Park Chalet Brewery |
|
Join us for an afternoon of medieval music with ASTERIA (Sylvia Rhyne '78, soprano, and Eric Redlinger, tenor and lute). Asteria brings to life the exquisite love songs of medieval Burgundy. Their historically informed settings and intimate interpretations are based on extensive archival research into original sources in Paris, The Hague, and Basel, Switzerland.
