As one of two new co-chairs of the Carleton DC club, I cordially invite you to the first and quite possibly the best alumni event of the year- a trivia competition in which we go head-to-head with other alumni groups across the country! This event is open to all Carleton alums, parents and friends. For those of you who are new to this fun and challenging event, the National Trivia Network allows people to compete world-wide, answering trivia questions via a satellite network. Carls from the alumni clubs around the country will be able to play the same game, Cosmic Countdown, a series of random trivia questions at the same time.

We'll gather, meet, and plan strategy for the first half hour. Competition starts at 3:30 p.m. Scores of the top teams are posted throughout the competition. With the cooperation of all clubs and through the magic of cellular phones, we will keep track of all teams points for each round and will calculate winners.

One final thing: the Carleton DC club is currently in an exciting period of transition, and we want you to help it get better! If you'd like to be on the Steering Committee- a very low commitment- please let me know and I'll be happy to let you know a little more info.
