Please join us for this fun, casual and informational event hosted by the Carleton Careers Alumni Board.
Over the past two plus years the Career Center has transformed its model from a traditional model of counseling and "four-and-out" to one that focuses on relationships and is community centered. The goal is to use the talents of alumni, parents and friends of Carleton much, much more than before to help students. We aim to help students and recent graduates get into as many rooms as they can, talking with as many friends (old and new) of Carleton as possible, at many different intervals, in as many fields as possible, for varying lengths of time (hours, days, weeks, months), on and off-campus, around and beyond their academic lives. We need your help to do this!
Come to this event to enjoy friends from around Chicago and to meet new friends from the recently formed Carleton Career Alumni Board, which is helping to guide these new initiatives. We hope to talk to you about the programs we have put together and to find out how you may be able to help. Attendees from the Board are: Laura Clise '01, Chuck Donnell '54, Barb Geiser '83, Stuart Grubb '85, Christian Lee '98, Bonnie Melville '92, Evan Rowe '09, Nicole Vikan '98, and Andy Wilson '91.
Cost: Light hors d'oeurves will be provided. Cash bar.
Directions: Fadó Irish Pub is located at 100 W. Grand in the heart of downtown Chicago. It is on the corner of Clark and Grand, across the street from Maggiano's, 2 blocks west on Grand from the Grand Red Line stop and 6 blocks north on Clark from the Clark and Lake El stop.
