We’re Going to the Theater!
(and Happy Hour)

Friday, April 6, 2012, 6:30 p.m.

Happy Hour at The Blue Monk—6:30 p.m.
Theater Event at Theatre Vertigo—8 p.m.

Please join alums, parents and friends for happy hour at The Blue Monk, located at 3341 SE Belmont St., Portland, where we will gather before the play to catch up, meet new friends and eat and drink.  (If you cannot make it to happy hour, we hope to see you at the theatre!)

From there we will attend the play American Pilot at Theatre Vertigo, located at 3430 SE Belmont St., Portland (only a one-block walk from The Blue Monk).  The Guardian has this following review:

"In this intense political allegory, a badly injured pilot drops out of the sky and into a village engaged in a guerrilla struggle to preserve their way of life. In The American Pilot, David Greig goes beyond ritual anti-Americanism to explore the relationship between one global superpower and the rest of the world. 'Greig is one of the most intellectually stimulating dramatists around.'"

So go to (now!) to buy your tickets (they're only $15 apiece!), and we're looking forward to seeing you all there!

RSVPs are appreciated, but are not necessary.  Questions?  Contact Philberta Leung ’02, Al Johnson ’65, or Ian Macleod ’03.  (If you need assistance, contact the Alumni Relations Office at 800-729-2586 or
